Who Is Thomas Kralow?

Thomas Kralow was born in Latvia. He makes some big claims about his trading record and success. In particular he claims to have made more than $9MM day trading. It looks like this took him 7 years but the timeline is not that clear.

Interestingly, he is one of the few coaches out there that claims to be retired from trading. Most continue trading themselves while teaching others. I like this honesty.

Through his website, Thomas offers a course that is very extensive – The Thomas Kralow Trading Academy.

The Thomas Kralow Course

The main Complete program is one of the biggest courses I’ve seen. The students have 150 days to go through the entire curriculum. There are lessons, home work and even a final exam.

Students are given a diploma at the end of the course after passing the final exam – this is a nice touch but what value is that really? It’s not like we are going to show an employer or put a trading diploma on the wall….

There are three courses available – but really they seem to be all the same course but with cheaper versions just have stuff missing from them. Here is an overview…..

Thomas Kralow Course Review: Basic Program

The Thomas Kralow basic trading course is only 21 days long and is usually the choice for beginner traders that don’t want to get overly bombarded by too much extra information. There are 20 lessons and various different quizzes and assignments.

There are three payment levels within the basic course.

1. Standard ($123): FULL ACCESS to program and all lessons 24/7 (2 chapters, 20 lessons). 19 INTERACTIVE QUIZZES. 7 PRACTICAL ASSIGNMENTS. The standard package doesn’t include any of the extras you will see below in the Assisted and Assisted Plus programs.

2. Assisted ($369): All of the standard but also includes individual homework checking, professional insight and a personal LIVE assistant. I’m not quite sure if these extras are worth $200+. Hard to say.

3. Assisted Plus ($899): This one has one-on-one sessions with Thomas Kralow. If Thomas is as successful as he claims then this is probably worth the money. There is also some kind of motivation from him as well, it’s not clear what that is exactly.

Thomas Kralow Course Review: Shortened Program

The shortened program is one step up from the basic and almost the same as the complete course. There is only one chapter missing compared to the main program. This is where things start to get expensive.

You have a choice again within the shortened course – $1,180, $2,780 or $18,880. You get offered payment plans with these as well. There are some slight discounts for paying those one-time fees.

The $18,880 option seems absurd to me. I can see that the cost of this is mainly due to having a lot more personal contact with Thomas. Again, I am ok with paying a premium IF the person teaching me can prove they are actually successful.

Thomas Kralow Course Review: Complete Program

This is the big one. The full course of over 200 lessons in 16 chapters. There are over 100 quizzes and assignments to complete. This thing is huge!

The prices are similar but a little higher than the Shortened program. They are $1,280 , $2,980 and $19,980. You can check out all the details at the site here.

Pricing Clarification

The reason for the varied pricing within each course level is interesting. Here is what I was able to determine the main differences are.

Standard

Subscribers get the course material and a community forum where they can communicate with other subscribers to the course. The learning material is available at any time and you have to teach yourself everything from the material.

Assisted

This is where things differ from a normal course. With the assisted program level you get extra guidance from an advisor. They give you more personalized feedback on homework etc. You get access to a live personal assistant as well – although its not clear how helpful that is.

Assisted Plus

This is where things get much more expensive because in addition to the previous two levels you also get mentorship from Thomas Kralow. About half of the course content is taken with Thomas offering personal guidance on the material.

This is pretty exciting stuff – if Thomas is the real deal then one-on-one mentorship would be worth it.

Customer support is good and the assisted plus subscribers seem to also get more support from the personal assistant.
